Meet Nick
Nick Dimitrov spent 20+ years at Microsoft and Amazon leading product and hiring teams, working directly with both Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos. At Microsoft, he made final hiring decisions as an As-Appropriate interviewer. At Amazon, he trained Bar Raisers, the elite interviewers who protect Amazon's hiring bar.
In 2018, Nick left to build his own products. He founded Amazon Bound, where 67% of his clients get hired, and Score My Interview, a proprietary AI model trained on over 3,000 real candidate responses that Nick personally reviewed and scored.

You can score STAR answers, STAR Failure answers, Tell me about yourself, and Why this employer answers. Each format uses its own scoring rubric and report layout.
What kind of input does Score My Interview need?
Choose an answer type, then submit the matching draft and job context. STAR and STAR Failure use Situation, Task, Action, and Result fields. TMAY and Why this employer use one answer field plus target-role details.
How does the score work?
Your response is scored 1-100 against a model calibrated on 3,000+ real interview responses reviewed using Amazon and Microsoft hiring standards.
What feedback will I get?
STAR answers get section feedback, strengths, weaknesses, top fixes, and company values feedback when supported. TMAY and Why this employer answers get summary feedback, strengths, and top areas to improve.
Can I revise and resubmit the same answer?
Yes. Open a report card, click Rescore, revise your answer, and submit again. Each submission is saved as its own report card.
What is a STAR Failure answer?
A STAR Failure answer tells the story of a real professional failure using the same Situation, Task, Action, and Result structure as a STAR success story. However, the result is a genuine failure that you owned. Most interview loops include at least one failure question, and interviewers use it to see whether you take real risks, own the outcome when things go wrong, and changed your behavior after.
Should I spend equal time on all four answer types?
No. STAR success stories are the most important and you should spend the majority of your time on them. After that you should focus on STAR Failure stories, TMAY, and Why this employer, listed in order of priority.

What do the score ranges mean?
1-49 means the answer needs work. 50-79 means the fundamentals are there but gaps remain. 80-100 means the answer has strong structure, concrete data, and clear impact.
Does the model account for the company or role?
Yes. Company, job title, level, and job URL help the model tailor the feedback, especially for Amazon- and Microsoft-style behavioral interviews.
What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
You can upgrade or wait for the next billing period. Your saved report cards, notes, favorites, and CSV downloads remain accessible.
